Official Team & Trustees

The Official Team is responsible for fiscal policy, assists the pastor in fulfilling the church program, hires and terminates employees of the church (pastor excluded), and helps determine the use of church and fellowship or educational facilities for extra religious activities.

The Trustee Board is responsible for church property and takes necessary measures for its protection and management.

Includes the Pastor, all deacons, and the members listed below.

Carrie Jones

Member of Mt. Moriah since childhood, member of the Deaconess Board for more than 5 years, and member of the Official Team. Former member of the Music and Missionary ministries.

Derek Strong

Member for over 10 years, member of Official Team, lawn keeper, and Audio or Video Ministry.

Richard Washington

President of Usher Ministry, member of the Official Team, and driver for the Transportation Ministry.

Brenda Stokes

Member for over 40 years, member of Usher Ministry and Women's Ministry, head of Culinary Ministry, and member of the Official Team.

Tonya Gill

Head of the Youth Department.

Elbert Speers

Audio or Video technician, photographer, and member of the Official Board.

Marsha Roundtree

Church Administrative Assistant, member of Women's Ministry, and member of the Official Board.

Bessie Newbern

Member for over 20 years, member of Official Team, and former head of the Decorations Ministry.
